DR. TATUM - CEO

Matthew Tatum, PsyD received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology. Early in his career, he played a key role in helping develop two integrated behavioral health departments for Federally Qualified Health Centers in Fresno County. In 2015 he assumed the Executive Director role at First Steps Recovery. There he grew a single, six bed residential drug and alcohol treatment center into a six bed detoxification facility, 16 bed residential treatment center, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program, and 30 bed sober living program. Expanding services such as this is a passion and life’s work for Dr. Tatum. His goal for Sierra Meadows is to expand services to the entire Central Valley and be able to provide care for all those in need.

DR. TERRY - MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Jonathan Terry, DO, ABIHM, IFMCP is proud to serve as the Medical Director for Sierra Meadows and Ascend Behavioral Health in our mission to bring comprehensive mental health services to our community. Dr. Terry is a board-certified osteopathic physician and surgeon, a general psychiatrist, a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), a Diplomate of the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons (NBPAS), and a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine (ABIHM).  Dr. Terry has specialty training in child and adolescent, addiction, geriatric, consult-liaison, and forensic psychiatry.  He is an accomplished author, expert witness, and industry consultant and serves as lead faculty in several nationally-recognized medical schools, physician residency programs, and health professional training programs.  Dr. Terry is proud to be a National Health Service Corps Ambassador and works primarily with underserved populations and in consultation for program and policy-building initiatives.  His favorite game at our bright Sierra Meadows & Ascend campus is shuffleboard.  

STEPHANIE PATRICK,

PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER

Stephanie Patrick-Calvillo, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with training and experience treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan and across practice environments; including inpatient and outpatient settings. Her education includes a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a focus on Executive Healthcare as well as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specialization from the University of St. Louis. Stephanie provides personalized, compassionate, and comprehensive care for patients.  When not caring for patients Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and collecting plants.

KRISTINE WILLIAMS, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Kristine is an accomplished healthcare operations professional with over 17 years experience in healthcare.  She is passionate about ensuring people receive the quality healthcare they deserve.  She has represented long term care facilities to the California State Workforce Investment Board and chaired the workforce committee for California Association of Healthcare Facilities.  She holds a bachelor's degree in human development from California State University Hayward. Originally from the Bay Area, Fresno has been her home for the past twenty years.  She is a mother of two who loves hiking and traveling with her husband.  

EMILY GOMEZ, OUTPATIENT CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Emily Gomez, LMFT is a graduate of California State University, Fresno. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science in 2002 and went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Counseling-Marriage and Family Therapy in 2006. She is experienced in working with both adults and adolescents using eclectic, holistic, and evidence-based techniques. She has worked in a variety of settings, including psychiatric, private practice, residential substance abuse and Intensive Outpatient. She has a passion for group therapy, in particular, because she believes that one’s connection to others is the foundational healing element of most emotional/mental struggles. She works to maintain balance in her own life by spending lots of time outdoors, staying active, and looking for fun ways to spend time with the important people in her life.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP

We are excited to announce the opening of our not for profit collaboration Sierra Meadows Foundation.

The foundation has been established to provide financial assistance to those in need.
